Verket

 Verket is a music festival with big and small artists from Scandinavia where we have experienced some worldwide artists in the last years. The name Verket come from the industrial development of Jernbaneverket AS in the 1990’s which is why the festival is located with lights, fireworks, and cameras, in the old industrial park Revelen in Mo I Rana. This is something you must experience as a newcomer if you have recently moved to Mo i Rana.

Tickets 

You buy tickets online through the official website to Verket by going to the top menu where you click on "Kjøp billetter" to be directed to the page where you can buy tickets online. You can choose between different types of tickets where you can choose between one day - pass or a full festival pass. Prices varies between tickets where the price is usually between 1000 - 2000 kroner for a one day - pass or a full festival pass. The price for children are lower, and the price for a group order is a bit lower, and can certainly benefit you if you are going with a group. 

Good to know

Verket is a very popular festival in the region. Tickets are sold out very quickly since it is a limited space in the location of the festival. However, you can also choose to become a volunteer if you want to take part in the festival in other ways, which is also very popular among people in Mo i Rana.

Smeltedigelen

The International music festival Smeltedigelen is hosted in September every year in Mo i Rana. International artists are invited to participate with cultural expressions, where you can experience traditional music and dance, jazz & blues, classical music, and other genres. This is another festival you must experience as a newcomer, if you are moving or have already moved to Mo i Rana.

Smeltedigelen 2022 Visit Helgeland

You can buy tickets online through the official website to Smeltedigelen by going to the artist you want to experience, and where you click on "Kjøp" to be directed to the tickets page to buy tickets online. Prices are usually a bit lower which range between 200 - 400 kroner for each ticket. 

Good to know

Smeltedigelen Music Festival is a bit smaller than Verket Music Festival which means that you can buy tickets closer to the concert dates. You can also become a volunteer where you will gain useful experience, things, and a bigger network with new friends in Mo i Rana.
